The short answer

  • Busan "ocean view" comes in three kinds — the Haeundae horizon, the Gwangalli bridge night view, and the Dongbaek-direction coastline. Confirm which one before you book
  • Signiel Busan uses LCT floors 3–19, 260 rooms. Ocean views face Haeundae Beach (west/south), and the top 19th floor holds a single royal suite
  • The 10 ocean-view candidates on this feed run USD 61.49–322.25 — a 5.2x spread. The Gwangan Bridge night view can be had for a third of Haeundae luxury

How to pick a Busan stay by neighborhood (Haeundae, Seomyeon, Gwangalli, Nampo-dong) is covered in a separate post. This one asks a single question: “It says ocean view — what is actually outside the window?” All rates are from the Klook affiliate feed, August 2026.

Three kinds of ocean view — decide what’s outside the window first

The same “ocean view” shows very different things depending on where the hotel sits.

🌊 The three branches of a Busan ocean view

The key is Gwangan Bridge. The bridge that fills most of Busan’s night-view photos is not the star from a room facing the Haeundae beach head-on. If you want the night scene, pick a room on the Gwangalli or Marine City side; if you want the morning sea, pick the Haeundae beachfront.

Two things to check on the booking screen

① Does the grade name spell out "Ocean"? A "Deluxe (view random)" can come back as a city view. ② Even within the ocean grades, floor assignment is usually not selectable, so if floor matters, check whether a separate high-floor grade exists. Grade structures change by season.

Signiel Busan — tearing down the floor and grade structure

Signiel Busan, this feed’s priciest at USD 322.25, is the clearest place to use as a benchmark because its ocean-view structure is publicly laid out. The hotel uses floors 3–19 of the Haeundae LCT Tower, with 260 rooms split into 219 standard rooms and 41 suites. Ocean-view rooms look toward Haeundae Beach — west- or south-facing — and within the ocean-view grades, the Premier Double Ocean View is the entry point. The 19th floor, the top, has exactly one royal suite.

Pick the grade facing Haeundae Beach (west/south) for the ocean view. Feed reference rate: USD 322.25 a night, the highest in this Busan set.

Prices and availability as of August 2026; vary by date and option. The listed rate is for the lowest grade, so it rises once you specify an ocean view.

The view-type labels are a classification by hotel location; what an individual room actually shows depends on floor, orientation, and grade. In the cheap end of this table, the price gap between ocean and city grades is small, but the ocean-view room count itself is often tiny.

The money conclusion: if the Gwangan Bridge night view is the goal, Gwangalli's USD 61–92 range does the job. What Haeundae luxury (USD 219–322) is really selling is not the sea but the beachfront location and its facilities. A traveler who only wants the view and books a top Haeundae property is close to overspending.
