Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: 2026-08-13
Seoul Window earns part of its running costs through affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, so you can read every recommendation on this site knowing where the money comes from.
What an affiliate link is
Some links to booking platforms on this site are affiliate links. If you book something after clicking one, the platform pays us a small commission.
The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without the link. Commission comes out of the platform's margin, not out of your booking.
Who we partner with
We are affiliate partners of Klook and KKday. Commission rates are set by those platforms and are typically around 5% of the booking value.
Some pages also show a Klook deals widget. It loads from Klook and shows current promotions in Korea — the same commission arrangement applies to anything booked through it.
How we mark them
Every article that contains affiliate links carries a short disclosure line near those links. Affiliate links themselves are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source.
Links to sites we operate ourselves — seoulhanbok.com and hongdaeluggage.com — are not affiliate links and are not marked as sponsored. We say so on the page when we link to them.
What commission does not buy
No platform, operator or shop pays us to be included, ranked higher, or written about favourably. We have never accepted payment for a placement.
Prices, opening hours and closures on this site are recorded as we find them. When a place we would earn nothing from is the better answer, that is the one we write.
If a product we link to disappears or turns out to be misdescribed, we remove the link rather than leave it earning.
Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, or you think a link is wrongly marked, write to us and we will fix it.
