The short answer
- This Klook feed's 30 hotels split into 11 tagged Jeju City and 19 tagged Seogwipo
- Listed rates run from USD 80.85–926.65, an 11.5× spread
- Airport limousine route 600 runs about 62 km one way, with 60 min headways
The one detail almost every Jeju hotel guide skips is travel time. On the same island you’ll find a stay five minutes from the airport sitting next to one 60 km away — and that gap decides whether you rent a car at all. So this guide groups the hotels by airport travel time and compares their listed rates.
The travel bands are built from the actual stops and operating distances of Jeju’s airport limousine routes 600 and 601. One-way figures are the published round-trip distances cut in half, and where I could confirm a hotel’s drive time, it’s noted in the table. Anything I couldn’t verify stays marked unconfirmed. Hotel prices shift constantly with dates, occupancy, and cancellation terms, so the numbers below are the lowest listed rates from the August 2026 feed.
How far from the airport, and what does each zone cost?
Closer to the airport doesn’t automatically mean cheaper — or pricier. The Jeju City cluster sits tightly between USD 84 and 185, while Jungmun spreads wide from USD 121 all the way up to USD 299.
🚗 Listed-rate spread by airport travel band (30 stays, August 2026 feed)
| Travel band | Zone | Verified basis | Stays in feed | Listed rate range (1 night) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Within 30 min | Jeju City / airport area | LOTTE CITY HOTEL JEJU AIRPORT is 2.4 km from the airport, ~5 min by car | 11 | USD 84.00–185.15 |
| 30–60 min | Jungmun Tourist Complex / Shinhwa World | Route 601 one-way ~44 km, serving the Jungmun hotel cluster | 6 | USD 120.75–298.79 |
| 60+ min | Seogwipo city / east | Route 600 one-way ~62 km, ending at Seogwipo KAL Hotel | 1 confirmed | USD 80.85 |
| Band unverified | Remaining Seogwipo | Zone can’t be pinned down from product names or feed labels | 12 | Unconfirmed |

There’s one takeaway from that table. Price in Jeju isn’t set by distance from the airport. The feed’s cheapest listed rate (USD 80.85) sits in Seogwipo city, the farthest zone — and its most expensive (USD 926.65) is also in Seogwipo. So pick a zone by your itinerary, not by price.
A five-minute drive from the airport, for just your first and last nights
Verified at 2.4 km and roughly 5 minutes by car from Jeju International Airport. The feed lists a reference rate of USD 146.49 per night — but the pool costs ₩12,000 per person per visit, and breakfast runs about ₩30,000 for adults.
Prices and availability as of August 2026; vary by date and option. If you're settling into one zone for three nights or more to relax by the sea, there's no reason to stay near the airport.
Where do you actually need a rental car?
The Jungmun hotel cluster and Seogwipo city are reachable on a single airport bus; Shinhwa World and the east coast are not. Line the two limousine routes’ stop lists up against each other and the island splits like this.
🚌 Airport transit access by zone (based on routes 600 and 601 stops)
| Zone | Reachable in one ride? | Confirmed route / stops | Rental car need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jeju City | Yes | Right by the airport; 2.4 km for the confirmed stay | Low |
| Jungmun hotel cluster | Yes | 601: Shilla Hotel, Lotte Hotel · 600: Parnas Hotel, Suites Hotel, Jeju International Convention Center | Medium |
| Seogwipo city | Yes | 600 ends at Seogwipo KAL Hotel, via Seogwipo Port and Jeju World Cup Stadium | Medium |
| Jeju Shinhwa World | Not on either route | Transfer at the Donggwang stop | High |
| Seongsan / east coast | Not on routes 600 or 601 | Unconfirmed | High |
It’s worth knowing where to board, too. Route 600 leaves from the limousine platform next to Gate 5 on the first floor of Jeju International Airport, and you pay once when you board — a distance-based fare rather than tagging off at the end. Both prepaid and postpaid transit cards work.
Routes 601 and 600 stop in different spots
The Shilla Hotel is served only by route 601 at the main gate; route 600 and city bus 510 stop near the entrance. Traveling with luggage? Check the 601 timetable first. The catch: route 601 terminates at the Jeju International Convention Center, so it never reaches Seogwipo city.
The weak point of both routes is their hours. From the airport, route 600’s first bus leaves at 06:30 and the last at 22:20; route 601 runs from 06:00 to 21:02. Headways are 60 minutes on both. If you land on a night flight and need to get straight to Jungmun or Seogwipo, budget for a taxi or a pre-booked pickup instead of the limousine.
A Jungmun Tourist Complex resort with the airport bus at its door
Set on Jungmungwangwang-ro 72beon-gil, about a 4-minute walk into the Jungmun Tourist Complex and 500 m from Jungmun Saekdal Beach. This hotel's name appears on route 601's stop list as-is. The feed lists a reference rate of USD 277.69 per night.
Prices and availability as of August 2026; vary by date and option. Breakfast runs about ₩85,000 for adults — the highest I found this round — so if you plan to eat out in the morning, compare room-only rates.
When you can skip the Seogwipo side
There are three. First, if your trip is two nights or less, the round-trip transit eats over two hours — Jeju City is the better call. Second, if you hoped to stay at Shinhwa World without renting a car: neither limousine route lists it, so you’ll add an extra transfer. Third, a night-arrival itinerary. Route 600’s last airport departure is 22:20, so anything later means a taxi fare on top.
The opposite case is just as clear. Stay put for three nights or more and walk to waterfalls, olle trails, and beaches, and your total travel actually shrinks. The Seogwipo city stay I verified here sits within 1.3 km of Sojeongbang Falls and 1.8 km of Jeongbang Falls, so you can stroll between sights.
A small hotel in east Seogwipo within walking distance of two waterfalls
On Bomok-ro 64beon-gil, 1.3 km from Sojeongbang Falls and 1.8 km from Jeongbang Falls. It's a 30-room property, and at USD 80.85 per night it's the cheapest of the 30 stays in this dataset.
Prices and availability as of August 2026; vary by date and option. The front desk runs only 08:00–23:00, so a late-night arrival rules this one out.
What about the rates at the other hotels?
The spread varies wildly by zone. Even inside the Shinhwa World complex, brands sit side by side at USD 121 and USD 244, while the Jeju City cluster starts at USD 84.
🏨 Jeju hotel and resort listed rates (August 2026 Klook feed)

| JW Marriott Jeju Resort & SPA | Seogwipo | USD 926.65 | Klook |

| Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World | Seogwipo (Shinhwa World) | USD 244.05 | Klook |
| Marriott Jeju Shinhwa World Hotels & Resorts | Seogwipo (Shinhwa World) | USD 234.35 | Klook |
| Shinhwa Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel & Resorts | Seogwipo (Shinhwa World) | USD 157.20 | Klook |
| Landing Jeju Shinhwa World Hotels & Resorts | Seogwipo (Shinhwa World) | USD 120.75 | Klook |
| Amber Pure Hill Hotels & Resorts Jeju | Jeju | USD 185.15 | Klook |
| Maison Glad Jeju | Jeju | USD 127.25 | Klook |
| Shilla Stay Jeju Airport | Jeju | USD 123.75 | Klook |
| Hotel RegentMarine | Jeju | USD 88.85 | Klook |
| Gloucester Hotel Jeju | Jeju | USD 84.00 | Klook |
For the hotels in this table, I couldn’t verify individual walking times or airport drive times. Zone labels come only from the feed’s city values, the place names in product titles, and the limousine routes’ stop lists. Before booking, double-check the coordinates on a map yourself.
The cheaper end is worth flagging too. The bottom of the Jeju City range (USD 84–90) runs at one-quarter to one-third of a Seogwipo resort. If you’ll drive the island all day and only sleep at night, skip the resort facilities, book this band, and put the savings into transport and food — your total cost comes out lower.
