The short answer

  • Indoor exhibits are your safest bet on a rainy day. Figure Museum Jeju is 3 floors of pure indoor galleries, with a recommended 1–2 hour visit.
  • Camellia Hill has no lighting, so closing time tracks sunset. Treat it as fully outdoors.
  • The earliest last entry is Hello Kitty Island at 17:00; the latest to close is Snoopy Garden at 19:00.

Most Jeju ticket comparisons chase one question: where’s the cheapest deal? This post works a different axis — can you actually use that ticket on a rainy day, and if you’re trying to fill a whole day indoors, what order should you go in?

Three benchmarks drive everything: whether the space is indoors or out, how long the average visit takes, and when last entry closes. I pulled all three from each booking site in August 2026, cross-checked the street addresses, and built district-by-district routes. Where a price wasn’t published, I left the cell blank rather than guess.

Just how much of each is actually indoors?

🎬

Figure Museum Jeju

243 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo. All three floors are indoor exhibits, from the ground up. Recommended stay: 1–2 hours.

🎀

Hello Kitty Island

340 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon. The exhibits, 3D theater, and café are all indoors, with a bit of outdoor garden attached. Stay: 1.5–2 hours.

🐶

Snoopy Garden

930 Geumbaekjo-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si. An indoor garden house plus outdoor gardens. Stay: 2–3 hours.

🌺

Camellia Hill

166 Byeongak-ro, Andeok-myeon. No lighting, so it closes with sunset. Fully outdoors; stay 1.5–2.5 hours.

Why some price cells are blank

Of the four, only Figure Museum Jeju shows a price right on the product page. The rest reveal the amount only after you pick a date and party size, so I didn't want to write down an unverified number. Check the listed price yourself at booking time.

On a per-hour basis, indoor museums win. Figure Museum costs US$9.39 — about ₩13,150 — and with a recommended 1–2 hour stay, filling two hours brings it down to roughly ₩6,600 an hour. Outdoor gardens work the other way: rain shortens your visit itself, so the same ticket price translates into a higher effective hourly cost. That's exactly why buying a garden ticket ahead of time on a rainy forecast is a losing move.

☔ When the rain won't let up from morning

Lock in one indoor exhibit that can ride out two hours, rain or shine

Every exhibit sits indoors across three floors, so the weather doesn't matter. Listed at US$9.39 in August 2026 — fill two hours and that's roughly ₩6,600 an hour.

Several reviews note it isn't a big venue. If nobody in your group cares about movie and animation characters, there's no reason to buy. The gap from the regular price is around US$0.5, so buying at the door costs you little. As of August 2026.

How do you hit four places in one rainy day?

The key is not mixing districts. Seogwipo’s Andeok-myeon and Jeju-si’s Gujwa-eup sit on opposite sides of the island, so lumping them into one day will eat the whole day in transit. The two tables below are built from cross-checked street addresses.

Why travel times aren't listed in minutes

None of the four booking pages list travel times between venues, so I noted only the proximity I could confirm from street addresses. 243 and 340 Hanchang-ro are on the same road, and Camellia Hill is in the same Andeok-myeon. Gujwa-eup, by contrast, is in eastern Jeju-si, so it doesn't pair well with Andeok-myeon on the same day. For real travel times, check a map app on the day.

🎀 When you need two indoor morning hours with a kid

A character exhibit you can walk into at opening, 09:00

Exhibits, 3D theater, and café are all indoors, with a recommended 1.5–2 hour stay. Its 17:00 last entry is the earliest on this list, so slot it into the morning.

Under-24-months enter free with proof, so bring only a baby and you just need adult tickets. The voucher is valid 30 days from issue, so there's no reason to buy ahead if your trip is a month away. As of August 2026.

Should you skip Camellia Hill in the rain?

I wouldn’t. The booking pages state outright that, with no lighting, the park adjusts its closing time to sunset — which means cloudy, rainy days shrink your usable visiting window by just that much.

Instead, save it for the morning after the rain clears and it earns its ticket. More than 6,000 camellia trees bloom in waves from autumn through spring — six of them fragrant varieties — so on a clear day your stay naturally stretches longer. Unused vouchers cancel free within 30 days of booking, which leaves you room to decide by the weather.

🌤️ When you've kept the next clear morning open

Grab a camellia-garden ticket you finish before sunset

Open 08:30–18:30 (Mar–Oct) and 08:30–18:00 (Nov–Feb), with last entry one hour before closing. To fit the recommended 1.5–2.5 hour stay, aim to enter before 3 p.m.

It's fully outdoors, so if rain is forecast, don't buy this ticket first. Unused vouchers cancel free within 30 days of booking. Free for under-37-months. As of August 2026.

Where do you put the place that closes latest?

Snoopy Garden. It’s open until 19:00 — the latest close on this list — so you can do your indoor exhibits in the morning and still have room for it late in the day. And with an indoor garden house, a little rain doesn’t completely sink the plan.

🐶 When you want to add just one more stop late in the day

The theme garden that stays open till 19:00 and can close out your day

Open daily 09:00–19:00, year-round — the latest close of the four places compared here. Recommended stay is 2–3 hours, with an indoor garden house and outdoor gardens together.

This product lists South Korea among the excluded nationalities and requires a Korean phone number to receive the entry QR, so Korean residents should buy through another channel. Unused tickets are fully refunded. As of August 2026.

If you want one more indoor stop without switching districts, a media-art exhibition like Arte Museum Jeju is your alternative; if the day rolls into evening, the Jeju Nanta show slots in as an indoor plan. Fans of painter-themed shows can add Gogh’s Garden too. These three aren’t in the comparison table above because their hours and prices shift with booking options.

When you don't need to buy tickets in advance

  • Iffy-weather dates — all four allow free cancellation of unused vouchers, but some products tie validity to 30 days. If your trip is more than a month out, there's no gain in buying now.
  • When the discount is tiny — Figure Museum lists US$9.89 regular and US$9.39 on sale, a gap of around US$0.5. If the venue isn't one where you'd queue, buying at the door is fine.
  • Bringing only a baby — Hello Kitty Island is free under 24 months and Camellia Hill under 37 months. Bring proof and you won't need a child ticket.
  • If you've rented a car — the private-car products sell transport convenience. If you already have a rental, they're not worth it.

One more thing: if the travel itself feels like a burden, you can tie an entire district together with a private taxi. Just know that this spends more on transport, not tickets — so if you already have a rental car, the math doesn’t work.
