In short, if you can get through the gate before 14:55 on a weekday, the full-day pass is cheaper per hour. Arrive any later and its per-hour rate turns worse than AFTER4. The catch: AFTER4 doesn’t let you in before 16:00.
Practically speaking, arriving between 15:00 and 16:00 on a weekday is the worst possible window. The full-day pass is already costing you ₩11,167 an hour — worse than AFTER4 — but you can't use AFTER4 yet, so you pay ₩67,000 for just 6 hours. If you'll land in that window, push your arrival back an hour to 16:00: it's ₩12,000 cheaper and the per-hour rate drops too.

How to decide when a park's prices aren't fixed
- Everland's list price changes by date depending on peak-season and weekend tiers, and its afternoon pass is priced by entry time band too. Pick your date, then check that day's tier on the official booking screen — there's no shortcut.
- Caribbean Bay opens afternoon admission at 14:30, but operating hours and ride availability shift with weather and safety inspections. With a moving close time, you can't pin down a per-hour cost in advance.
- Lotte World Adventure Busan has an AFTER3 pass, so afternoon entry starts at 3 p.m. It opens the afternoon window an hour earlier than Seoul, but it also closes earlier.
- For parks with date-based pricing, skip the per-hour rate: calculate remaining hours first, then decide whether that stretch of time is worth the asking price.
Enter at 4 p.m. and dodge the midday heat
The park pass lists at ₩52,000 for full-day and ₩45,000 for the night pass — a ₩7,000 gap. Rides and coin-operated attractions aren't included in the park pass, so budget separately for those.
Visitors 65 and over pay the child rate, and veterans and people with disabilities get 50% off with on-site proof. If that's you, buying online could actually cost more.
When does a night pass become the wrong call?
When your remaining time drops into the two-hour range. Lotte World’s AFTER7 admits you from 7 p.m., and with a weekday close of 21:00 that leaves just 2 hours.
In August 2026, booking sites listed AFTER7 at ₩29,400. At that price it works out to ₩14,700 an hour on a weekday (2 hours) and ₩9,800 an hour on Fri–Sat (3 hours). In other words, buying AFTER7 on a weekday hands you the most expensive per-hour rate of the entire day. On a Friday or Saturday, though, the extra hour cuts the rate by roughly a third.
