Day 1 — What is a good first day in Seoul with kids?
Keep it slow and indoors: an aquarium in the afternoon, a self-photo booth on the way out, done by dinner. Nobody performs well on arrival day, least of all a 4-year-old.

Day 2 — How do you do a theme park full day without the meltdown?
Book the ticket and the transport before you fly, arrive at opening, and plan a mid-afternoon break. Here is how that looks for each park.
Option A: Everland (best for ages 6+)
Everland is in Yongin, outside Seoul — a genuine full-day commitment, and worth it for school-age kids: the Lost Valley safari ride, pandas and animals at Zootopia, seasonal flower festivals, and the wooden coaster T Express for kids tall enough to ride. Buy the e-ticket in advance so you walk straight to the gate scanner.

Option B: Lotte World (best for ages 2–6)
Lotte World Adventure is mostly under one giant roof, connected directly to Jamsil Station — which means climate control, easy stroller loops, and a hotel-return nap that costs you 20 minutes instead of two hours. Little ones get the kiddie zone and parades; older siblings still get proper rides on the outdoor Magic Island.
Stroller logistics — the thing parents regret not planning
- Both parks rent basic strollers inside the gate, but those stay in the park — they do not solve the subway, the shuttle, or the airport.
- For the whole trip, a Seoul stroller rental means you skip flying with yours entirely; check pickup and delivery options on the booking page.
- Time the stroller nap for right after lunch — that is when park crowds peak anyway, so you lose nothing.
Day 3 — Is Seoul Grand Park zoo worth it with kids?
Yes — it is one of Korea’s biggest zoos, it costs a fraction of a theme park, and it sits right on Line 4 (Seoul Grand Park Station). The one thing to know: the park is huge, and the walk from the gate area to the zoo entrance is long with small children. That is what the 코끼리열차 (elephant train) and the sky lift are for — the combo ticket covers both, turning the worst walking stretches into the fun part of the day.
