How to lock in a booking without a Korean number
The trap in booking a Korean escape room isn’t the room — it’s the confirmation step. Many venues take reservations with no deposit, then confirm by text or call the day before. What to expect when you get there
Why are English escape rooms so rare?
A lot of Korean escape rooms use the Korean language itself as the puzzle. Initial-consonant quizzes, four-character idioms, meaning hidden between the lines of a letter — translate them and the puzzle falls apart. Building an English version isn't translation; it's closer to building the same room twice. That's why the award-winning brands (Key Escape, Next Edition) are, if anything, the most Korean-only.
When the game ends, a group photo almost always follows. Hold a prop, snap a shot, and many venues print it for you on the spot. You can’t bring your phone into the room, so that one photo is the day’s only record.
